The filmmaker sets their trans masculinity into a dialogue with an old VHS tape. War games and masculinity rituals slowly merge in this newly formed space of distortion and improvised video processing.
In 2021 Mascing has screened as a part of Interface Festival, Video Out Presents: Inter- Multi- Trans- New Acquisitions Screening and 2023 Trans Fest Stockholm. and is currently in distribution by VIVO Media Arts Centre.
